Long Time No See

Okay, I'm kiddin' here.
My little puggy paws cannot operate the camera, and I don't have thumbs to do the keys.

My momma has been busy, and so have I.

You see my puppies (kids) are gettin' BIG! They still get a little bit of milk, though, and my daddy is givin' it to them on the fourth.

My brother Ranger and I checked 'em out good.
They are fine!

I'm stickin' with my momma, so I can go in the pasture with her.

We've been doin' a lot of this, because it's been so hot.  Here I am with Dino, my favorite Stuffie.

My furriend Benny is still Fighting Like a Frenchie against the Big C.

Won't you go and help him here?

Takin' Care of My Babies

Takin' care of our babies is an important job.

Today I checked out their little barn to make sure nothin' bad was in it.

'Cause we let them loose in the pasture to play.

I saw something and ran to check it out...

(barked 3 minutes at the waving grass....momma)

These guys follow me EVERYWHERE.  They even smell my behind like they think they are DOGS!

Pretty soon I got hot, and I went to sit with my brother on the porch.

C'mon, momma, it's time to go in!

We also read today that a nice pug named Coco has crossed the Rainbow Bridge.  We are sorry for his pawrents and his family, and all his friends.  I didn't know him, but he sounds like he was very, very nice.
I hope he can find Gertie and Hannah, and have some new friends there while he waits for his momma to come someday.

Up and At Them, Pug Style!

I've been doing a LOT to help my momma with the chores.

Here I am getting ready to go in and tell those chickens to "GET OUT HERE IN THE SUN!" for my momma.

Sometimes chickens can be very slow.

Then I gave the stink eye to the five little punks  I mean roosters that I like to chase.  Momma was watching me, so I didn't run them this time.

Pretty soon, we came in to the house, where it was cooler, and I had a good cold drink of water with Ranger before we rested for a while.

Pugs are good resters!

I'm Back!

Someday, dogs will have opposeable thumbs, I know it.

I've been helpin' my momma a lot.

I keep an eye on the ducks for her, even though they quack a lot at me.

Momma, they won't hurt me, will they?

Here I am, bringing the truck in with my daddy!

And here I am tonight, havin' a drink with my big brother Ranger!

He has trouble gettin' up and down, and momma brings his water to him sometimes.

The Protector of Us All

Here is my big sister Lilly... the Protector of Us All

I'm the Associate Protector of Us All, and we keep watch over our brother Ranger, who has trouble getting around now.  We wait for him, because we love him.

I Went to See Dr. Tom

This afternoon, my daddy took me to see Dr. Tom.  Momma was worried about my eyes, and my nails needed a pedicure, and momma can't hold me up and keep me still, so I always go with daddy.

We can't take pictures at the vet's office when daddy goes with me, because he doesn't have any extra hands like momma does.

Here I am getting out when I got home:

Guess what?  I lost a pound and a third!  YAYYYYY!
My momma was very happy, and so was Dr. Tom, because he had warned daddy I was TOO BIG.
Everything is okay with me, but my orbs are getting dry.  My sister Hannah had dry orbs, too, and now my momma has to start putting drops in them three times a day, and I have to go see Dr. Tom again in two weeks.

Here I am on duty in the henyard.  I was looking for those funny things that momma brought here yesterday

If you look close, you can see them there, in the dark!

I don't know what they are yet, but they make funny noises!  I like to chase them, and momma says I will be grounded if I keep doing that!

Here I am when we were finished, you can see my toes look so nice, and I am surveying everything to make sure things are right in our yard.
My orbs can see, they are just getting a little too dry... but momma put drops in, and they feel good now!

My momma says we are going to work on the D.I.E.T. .  Does anyone know what that means?

A Beautiful Day

My mama plays that song a lot, and today, we had a beautiful day, so it came true.
It's 50 degrees right now, and I got to go outside and play!
Yayyyy!

Here's my big brother Ranger, watching the water come out of our well house.  The sump pump in there pushes the extra water out.  We had just come from the pasture, and Ranger was really, really hot and tired and having trouble walking.  He's old.

I love to play in water, I was so glad to see it!

There it goes again!  Can you see it in the middle of the little house?

I know that water went under here!

My momma tried to make a little video go on here, but it didn't go for a long time, so she had to stop.

I told her "That's okay, momma, we can try again tomorow!"

It Snowed Some More

My brother Ranger and I are SO TIRED OF THIS STUFF.

So is my momma, because she shoveled paths for us again.

No going down to the pasture for a few days!

TOO HOT FOR MARCH!

My mama says it's time for "March Madness" where we live, but I just know that it's
TOO HOT.

Ranger and I had to hit the deck this afternoon to get some fresh air:

Here I am getting up, and telling Ranger... "C'mon, Big Bro!"

As you can see, it's pretty bright out on our deck... it's 82 degrees right now and that's TOO HOT.

(Mama turned on the airconditioning for us!)

I Finally Got my Blog!

Abby Lynn here.

I help my mama with her chickens on our little farm.  My mama told me a long time ago that my little sister Gertie and I were going to have our own blog, but then Gertie went to the Rainbow Bridge.

Now mama says it's time for me to have my own blog, and tell you about everything going on with me here on the farm.

It isn't really a farm, you know, my mama just calls it that.

I'm so short that it SEEMS like a farm to me, and I smell all kinds of strange things... so I know some wild things have come around at night while I'm sleeping safe with mama and daddy.

Here I am sharing a drink with my big brother, Ranger.  He has trouble standing up sometimes, so he cries to let mama know he's thirsty, then he and I get to have a drink together.

Here's my big sister, Lilly, laying in MY bed by mama's desk.
If she wants to lay there, she can, because she's the Protector of All of Us here at the farm.

I don't mess with her.

And these guys don't mess with ME!

Pug on Duty!
