Thursday Comments

My momma has been lettin' our babies out into the pasture a lot, lately.

They even got to do chores with her last night, and go in the henyards.

I didn't get to, because she knows I'll chase these guys:

And I would, too!

Momma also said it's too muddy, and my belly would get muddy dragging in it.

I keep trying to get my daddy to stay home every day with my momma, Lilly, Ranger and me.
It's not working.
Yet.

I'm Back!

Someday, dogs will have opposeable thumbs, I know it.

I've been helpin' my momma a lot.

I keep an eye on the ducks for her, even though they quack a lot at me.

Momma, they won't hurt me, will they?

Here I am, bringing the truck in with my daddy!

And here I am tonight, havin' a drink with my big brother Ranger!

He has trouble gettin' up and down, and momma brings his water to him sometimes.

The Hole in the Tree

While my momma was pickin' up sticks, I checked out the big trunk of the walnut tree.

When momma turned around, all she saw was my little curly tail, my whole body was in the big hole, because I was smellin' the good smells in there.  It scared her, because she is afraid the tree will fall on me.

I came out after a minute, but I was still smellin' good stuff.

Guess what else came here today?

That's right!  Now there's FOUR of those things that make the funny noises, and momma won't let me chase them, either!

Workin' in the Henyards

Today, we filled the duck's pond again.  Momma is only filling it every three days, instead of every day, since they have a smaller bowl to drink out of that momma keeps clean for them.

The chickens drink out of this pond, too.

There they are.  They still won't let me get near them.

They get that water really dirty!

I was watching carefully from the steps.  Momma gets scared when I go up on the deck, because there is no railing, and she is afraid for me to fall.
Daddy is going to put a railing here.

I thought I'd go in through the pophole and see what the guys inside were doing.  Momma has the door propped open because it got so hot this afternoon.

Then I played in the water for a while, but momma realized I was really, really hot, and she took me in the house where it was a lot cooler. I was glad!

We gots a new little peeps here!

I Went to See Dr. Tom

This afternoon, my daddy took me to see Dr. Tom.  Momma was worried about my eyes, and my nails needed a pedicure, and momma can't hold me up and keep me still, so I always go with daddy.

We can't take pictures at the vet's office when daddy goes with me, because he doesn't have any extra hands like momma does.

Here I am getting out when I got home:

Guess what?  I lost a pound and a third!  YAYYYYY!
My momma was very happy, and so was Dr. Tom, because he had warned daddy I was TOO BIG.
Everything is okay with me, but my orbs are getting dry.  My sister Hannah had dry orbs, too, and now my momma has to start putting drops in them three times a day, and I have to go see Dr. Tom again in two weeks.

Here I am on duty in the henyard.  I was looking for those funny things that momma brought here yesterday

If you look close, you can see them there, in the dark!

I don't know what they are yet, but they make funny noises!  I like to chase them, and momma says I will be grounded if I keep doing that!

Here I am when we were finished, you can see my toes look so nice, and I am surveying everything to make sure things are right in our yard.
My orbs can see, they are just getting a little too dry... but momma put drops in, and they feel good now!

My momma says we are going to work on the D.I.E.T. .  Does anyone know what that means?

Today, I Played Inside with my Mama

I have toys, but Lilly keeps takin' 'em outside.

This is my duck, I really like it.

It got really warm here today, and mama was afraid to have me go outside too often. Ranger had to stay in too, and mama turned on the overhead fan for him.

I missed seeing my chickens, but I'll go out early tomorrow with mama to see them... it's going to be warm tomorrow, too, too warm for a little pug to be running all over the farm.

I wanna thank everyone for all their nice comments about my new bloggy!

See you tomorrow, furriends!
